STI Engineering and 2Way B.V. have signed a support and maintenance agreement valid until 2026 for the P2000 public safety network in the Netherlands.
P2000 Network Upgrade

STI Engineering has completed the supply of high-powered VHF base stations for an Australian emergency services project. The contract included the manufacture and supply of 175 x 250W paging transmitters for a state-wide simulcast network. Deliveries concluded on-time in June 2016.
RFI-148 250 Paging Project

STI Engineering has won a multi-million dollar contract to supply a total of 480 250W VHF paging transmitters for the Victorian Emergency Alerting System (EAS) upgrade.
Following a three year development, the contract marks an exciting start for the recently released RFI-148 250 paging transmitter.

The Victorian Government’s state-wide Emergency Alerting System (EAS) was commissioned in November 2006 to provide a guaranteed method of emergency message delivery to all populated areas of Victoria.
Servicing 30,000 personnel in the Country Fire Authority, Rural Ambulance Victoria and the Victoria State Emergency Service, the RF Innovations RFI-148 100 Watt VHF paging transmitter is a vital part of the system.

The emergency services of the Australian Capital Territory are using data radio technology to improve the effectiveness and coordination of their attendance to an emergency. They are using a VHF network that requires no fixed infrastructure to relay vehicle locations, short messages, and jpeg pictures.
